It seems like many of the issues your ex had were related to your thinking things aren’t a big deal that were possibly important to her and it was the perception of her job being unimportant compared to yours that was the challenge. During the 21 years I’ve been a mom and 22 as a wife, I’ve been a pediatrician and started 2 companies (not all at the same time) and been the primary house keeper as well. Life is insanely busy but the one time I try to keep sacred is family meals when we can all be together and connect. It’s important time and meal choice, setting the table, phones off and enjoying that time together is special and very important to me. Perhaps didn’t really care what you wanted to eat Maybe she just wanted you to be present and feel the value of that time as she did? (Or she was just tired of making every decision in the house and then hearing complaints)
